My journey into AI was driven by a fascination with its potential, honed over 25 years of building large-scale, web-based applications. As the co-founder and CTO of a successful SaaS company specialising in Revenue Intelligence, I was tasked in 2017 with exploring how AI could enhance our product offerings. This challenge led me deep into the world of machine learning and neural networks.
Despite the hype, I discovered a significant gap between the theoretical promise of AI and the practical steps required to make it production-ready. I immersed myself in the complexities, from intricate mathematical concepts to the nuances of different models. This journey culminated in the development of a multi-tenant machine learning platform that outperformed Salesforce Einstein in opportunity scoring and delivered transformative insights for our clients.
